Deleting your account

Delete in the app

1. Open Koza and go to the My profile tab.
2. Open Settings and tap Delete account at the bottom.
3. Pick a reason and tap Permanently delete my account.

What happens next?

• Your account is hidden right away: it no longer shows up in Find, in lists or in search. You are signed out everywhere.
• If you sign in again within 14 days, your account comes back.
• After 14 days your account and its data, including your profile, chats and past sessions, are permanently deleted.
• To prevent repeated abuse, moderation and report records are kept for 2 years after the account is closed; subscription and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.
• Deleting your account does not cancel Koza Plus. Cancel the subscription separately on your iPhone in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.

If you can't use the app

Email team@koza.social from the address registered with Koza, with the subject "Account deletion", and include your username. Once we confirm the request came from your account's address, we delete your account.
